To kick off the summer season, the Grand Arts Council is hosting “Grand Art for the Arts” an on-line fundraising silent auction. The bidding is set to start on May 22 and run through May 31.

There is a pretty spectacular array of choice items for you to claim as the highest bidder. Included for your shopping pleasure are several original works of art and photographs featuring well known artists Marjorie Cranston, Malene Motenson and others. There are some spectacular art glass pieces, one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry pieces, and an art quilt. You can bid on a guided fishing trip from Rocky Mountain Outfitters, a private home-cooked dinner by chef Jean-Claude Cavalera, or a private family photo session from Nettie Joy Photography. Some of the more exciting items include a multi-night stay in Grand Lake, a one year family pass to Snow Mountain Ranch, and a 6-month athletic club membership at the Grand Lake Center. And that’s not all! But you’ll just have to go on-line to check out all of the items you can bid on.
