Moroccan dinner and belly-dancing!
The Grand Arts Council is hosting a fundraising dinner with entertainment at the Grand Lake Lodge on September 11. This will be the only dinner served to the public at the Grand Lake Lodge this year! And promises to be the premier Grand Lake summer finale.
A Night in Morocco will feature authentic food and belly dancers. There will also be a cash bar and silent auction. The Lodge is generously donating the use of their restaurant for this event which can seat up to 185 people for dinner. The dinner will be catered by Sherry Kent and Showboat Catering. Tickets are $100 per couple or $55 per single.

Visit the graves and hear the stories!
The annual Tombstone Tales historic tour through the Grand Lake Cemetery, is scheduled for Sunday, September 5. This storytelling event has been a popular Labor Day weekend attraction for over 10 years. Six historic Grand Lake people will be characterized by costumed actors portraying their stories, at the grave sites.
Tickets are now on sale for the event which consists of a guided cemetery tour and takes about an hour and a half. Tours are scheduled every half hour beginning at 11 a.m. limited to 20 people in each tour.
